I bought an 8x10 picture frame with a black frame. Only $1, can't believe it and best of all it doesn't necessarily look cheap. I then came home and made a little template on my computer in word using tables and changed the borders to something more fun then straight lines. Here is the template:
I really hope that link works. I'm a little disappointed that I can't get the template to actually view on the blog. If you know how to do this, please enlighten me; I'm still learning about this blog thing.
I did have to cut the edges of the paper after I printed it off to fit in the frame. If you wanted to you could buy the next size up frame and it would work better and you wouldn't have to cut the paper. After the template is secured in the frame, just take an expo marker and write on the glass. This idea could be used for anything, chore chart, things to do for the week, etc. I like that I can write on the glass and then erase it with a Kleenex. The only thing I regret is not putting a place for the date, but I had enough trouble trying to fit it all on one page.
Here is a picture (because I know how to do that), of the finished project.
